Bullfinch and Bronze Gift Vignette

The cozy and colorful bullfinch needlepoint inspired this lovely little vignette! An avid feathery-friend admirer, I have always thought of birds as a symbol of new beginnings, hope and freedom.

Come to find out the Bullfinich is known to store food in its cheeks and use it to feed others. What a nice gesture for a thoughtful gift! The Swedish style needlepoint is exquisite, it seems to be stitched with wool yarn and is mounted on a black scroll design hanger. The colors are rose, vermilion, deep brown, tan, gold, olive and blue gray. It is from the 70's and in excellent condition. The 70's vintage vibe includes 4 mix and match glasses from Libby in a subtle smoky brown color. I found the perfect  plaid napkins in tones that magically match the needlepoint in a thrift shop, with the tags still intact. (They have since been washed and pressed). The adorable bronze color metal napkin rings from an online resale marketplace, tie up this gift vignette in a perfect package. The faux wreath and florals are display only and not included in this gift.
