Pickwick Perfection Gift Vignette

Pickwick Perfection! The twisting fruit garland on the Franciscan made plate are a nod to a retro inspired avocado and burnt orange color palette. The matching mugs are a lovely pairing, pun intended! The partially glazed abstract patterned pear figurine rounds out the cheerful theme.

With a dinner plate that is meant to double as the perfect vehicle for a snack or tea for two. The green pear theme is balanced with gold and burnt orange. Its fresh and retro-tastic at the same time!  The plate is Franciscan “Pickwick” pattern, the coffee mugs are stamped USA on the bottom, likely 1960s Royal China Cavalier Ironstone. The pear figurine has an interesting abstract half glazed print and ties the trio together perfectly! Wood tray and faux berries are for display only and are not included.

Vintage: mixed 1960's, the pear is 2000's.

Ramp up the WOW-FACTOR: This vignette is BEGGING to be in a gift basket! Fill a roomy woven basket with shred and place these pieces securely, bumper with wads of tissue or pieces of clean re-purposed styrofoam. Fill in the empty spaces with bagged goodies like gourmet English muffins, a jar of honey butter, preserves, fresh pears and maybe candied orange peels or the chocolate dipped ones for someone extra special! A pretty tea towel would  be nice, you can even loosely tie one from the handle. No need to cello-wrap if you drop it off in person!
