Vintage Tulip Gift Vignette

This lovely gift features an endearing tulip bouquet in warm and inviting shades of amber, cinnamon and nutmeg on vintage serving plates from the 1930's.

The allure of these vintage pieces was unexpected! Hidden on a bottom shelf in an antique mall and stacked among miss-matched platters, a beautiful tulip in a deep amber hue peeked out and caught my eye. Kneeling on the floor I discovered a few pieces with this beautiful meadow inspired tulip bouquet pattern on creamy ivory ground and with embossed rims. They are delicate but not fragile. There is a hint of crazing but not enough to pass them by. I am not sure I would use them to eat off of, but as a shelf display or part of a vintage wall collage, they would be perfection! 
Cottage charm is written all over these beauties and someone is going to love these in their collection. Wood tray, plate stands and faux florals are for display only and are not included.

Vintage: 1930's
Details: Pre-loved and used condition with some crazing. The oval platter has a couple scratches from use and here and there the rust color border has some ware.
